New Product Release: Fall / Winter 2012
Our original Split-Fit™ temple technology is an evolutionary leap forward in eyewear, but the hingeless Split-Flex™ version is our absolute top-of-the-line. Astoundingly flexible, and available only on Model 10.01, these temples have a core of beta-Titanium and an exterior sheath of co-molded rubber, and are permanently fixed to the frame front. There’s a natural inward curve to the temples, such that they cross over each other when the frame is at rest. However, when worn, that inward curve means that the frame is actively gripping the wearer’s head. Combined with the increased surface area, soft rubber against the skin, and overall light weight, Split-Flex™ gives Model 10.01 unparalleled comfort & grip.
We first introduced Model 10.01 as a sunglass during our inaugural product launch in the fall of 2010. But we decided the Split-Flex™ technology is too awesome to only be used when the sun is shining. So we now make it available for prescription eyeglasses too. While we were at it, we added 3 new colorways – in both sunglasses and eyeglasses. The newest colorways come with the larger 12 x 12″ Polkadelt handkerchief.
